Job Description

Logistics Administrator


Millar Western is seeking a Logistics Administrator to work in its Edmonton corporate office. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this individual will assist in the selection and scheduling of modes of carriers, ensuring the cost-efficient delivery of lumber and pulp products from our mill facilities to customers and inventory sites. The successful candidate will work closely with sales representatives, site production schedulers and carriers to promote an orderly product flow.

The ideal candidate:

Qualified applicants will have a good working knowledge of highway carriers, transportation regulations and practices, carrier options, emerging opportunities and documentation requirements, coupled with excellent communications and interpersonal skills. A strong administrative background is essential.
