This rewarding position consists of the following core responsibilities and its specific duties:
. Provide analytical leadership to various projects through research and statistical analysis.
o Produce high quality and reliable reports
o Monitor changing needs for data over time and respond with recommended solutions
. Provide accurate, reliable and timely financial analysis and budget options.
o Consult with senior leadership to develop and analyze a variety of budget options
o Adjust and re-create options within demanding timeframes
o Coordinate ministry-wide reviews of data collection procedures and report findings to Program Directors and program delivery managers
. Coordinate and conduct activities to support operational requirement and initiatives.
o Provide business information support to inform changes and upgrades to data sources and reporting platforms
o Ensure those impacted by information technology changes are involved and fully understand the process
o Participate in the development of end-user training and documentation
. Ensure ongoing Quality Assurance reporting and monitoring for quality service delivery to Albertans.
o Maintain, review and produce quarterly and annual quality assurance and essential standard reports
. Work with Branches and Delivery staff for evaluations of programs and initiatives.
o Provide research, planning, coordination and evaluation expertise for projects and initiatives
o Ensure that technical data is presented in a user-friendly format

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
. A University Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration/Management, or Social Sciences
. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications
. Knowledge of SAS Advanced Querying, Infomart Cubes, Advanced Data List Management
. Knowledge of statistics and research (quantitative and qualitative) methodologies
. Strong communication, consulting, presentation and report writing skills
. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
. Ability to build and maintain good working relationships
